Margaret is the Deputy Director -Finance & Administration. She has vast knowledge in organizational standards, administrative processes and regulations in the education sector. This experience spans over 30 years in which she has served as a teacher, a teacher trainer and manager. Her commitment to the transition of learners and persons with visual impairment, led to her appointment as the Lead Coordinator (KENYA) of the NORHED partnership project funded by NORAD (Norwegian Agency for   Research and Development). This project aims at providing a Web portal for advocacy and sharing of information on sensory impairments in East Africa. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University, Nairobi. She attained her Master of Philosophy in Special Needs Education, from University of Oslo (UiO), Norway and is currently pursuing doctorate studies in special needs education at the same university.
